Ofsted
How our school is viewed by independent inspectors.
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
We were last inspected by Ofsted in October 2023 and were very pleased with their extremely positive report which stated that “Petersgate Infant School is a Good School”.
It confirmed that “There is a sense of purpose and positivity that pervades the school.”
"Leaders have created stability while also striving to do what is best for pupils. Staff are proud to work in the school and are inspired by the new vision in place."
